My Cake Story
In 2008 I was living in California and planning my wedding.
I loved seeing the creativity that went into wedding cakes, and it was that moment that I knew I wanted a future in baking.
I enrolled in a Pastry School in San Francisco, followed by an apprenticeship at Chez Panisse, Berkeley. I then landed in the job of my dreams as a Pastry Chef at a gorgeous French Patisserie in the East Bay surrounded by Patisserie and beautiful Cakes.
In 2016, following a move back to the United Kingdom and two children later, I set up a home bakery in Sevenoaks, Kent, making delicious cakes and yummy biscuits.
I love teaching others how to bake and sharing sugarcraft techniques and in 2019 I joined the Squires Kitchen International School as a Tutor.
